Married alumni Jacob '22 (Cross Disciplinary Studies) and Abigail '21 (Business Administration) Landean opened a new coffee shop in the village of Cassadaga in Chautauqua County in late May. Not only did they open a place to get coffee, but they also provided an opening for donations to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo.
Jacob and Abigail met at Roberts Wesleyan University, and their desire to have a coffee shop (Abigail) and be a small business owner (Jacob) combined for this opportunity. The duo bought the building, developed a business plan, and created the menu. The menu includes hot and cold coffees, tea, smoothies, omelets, salads, sandwiches, and more.
The new coffee shop is named 3 Lakes Cafe after the three lakes that make up Cassadaga Lakes.
